On Sunday October 6, 1901 Groover Cleveland signed the Washington Hotel Register stating his residence as Buffalo, New York. Below his signature is W.W. Harrison from Ohio who stayed in room eight. Grover Cleveland was retired when he came out west to the gold fields. Why he was here is a mystery.
