The water feature is a pre-formed pond three and one half
by five and one half feet and 18 inches deep and has a 30 inch cascade.
Together  they hold about 100 gallons of water.

The herb garden and pond was designed and built by me
for the cafe's kitchen in April and May 2002.

faierybridge 2gif.gif (117342 bytes) Three types of thyme, four mint varieties,
two type each of basil, parsley and tarragon
as well as rosemary, sage, and chives are
grown in the garden.

Most of the fresh herbs used at the Cafe
originate here at the Pond and Herb Garden.

We are planning to add to the water feature this fall.
The pond will be five feet by eight feet, and the adjoining
three by six water garden will include an area for
water cress and cut flowers for next spring.

Sorry, the herb garden is not available for general viewing at the restaurant,
its at my home to insure the purity of the organics and that no impurities are introduced.
But
If you drop by and ask on some quiet afternoon I just might show it off
(with my buttons busting |;^) )

Chef Wil,
I have just been in and about the establishment which allows you to perform
and I must say it looks marvelous. The recipes which you have so graciously
shared look so wonderful and tasty. I must say your herb garden and pond
look so natural. And I'm glad you have taken the time to share with all of
us at the pond forum. Next time I'm in northern California I will make it a
point to visit.
  Thanks again.
Shalom,

Happy Fourth of July ! Great Time as usual meeting old friends and new ones too.
We always feel welcome and have that home away from home feeling. Hi to Mama Sue and Henry.

Looking good, Chef. Boy, I bet you didn't have to go far for stone.
It looks very natural and the surrounding herbs make that more so.
Good work! The next time I'm up that way (I have friends who live in Nevada City)
I'll have to drop in on the restaurant.
